Depending on your individual circumstances, Access 2 Place can provide sole or shared occupancy housing options for both individuals and families.
Access 2 Place's properties come from a number of different funding sources and programs. These programs can be split into three categories:
- Those for which tenants are sourced through Disability S A’s Accommodation Placement Panel (A P P);
- Those for which tenants are sourced through the Community Housing Customer Register (C H C R) or Disability S A regions; and
- Transitional/Respite housing properties which are head leased to an agency that is responsible for selecting and providing services to clients.
Applicants wishing to be allocated to an Access 2 Place property must register with the Community Housing Customer Register (C H C R). (Except for transitional and respite housing as theses placements are short term and clients already have an existing primary place of residence). All Disability S A clients who require housing with support must also register with the Disability S A Accommodation Placement Panel. To do this need they to contact their Disability SA case worker to be assessed for eligibility.
