Meet Teresa Miller

    Teresa Miller, Access 2 Place (A2P) Housing Officer, brings more than 12 years’ disability sector experience together with 20 years’ management in sectors including shopping centre management.

    In the disability sector, Teresa worked with senior management within administration, quality, event management, support leading roles and more. She also worked as an Assistant Manager within Supported Independent Living (SIL) and a Royal Commission Division – where her role was to view RC hearings into People Living and Working With A Disability and create recommendations to senior management and the board. 

    She brings other valuable experience to A2P, as a former Projects & Assistant Manager – Supported Independent Living. In this role, Teresa assisted in the project-management development of apartment buildings and homes. This included procuring furniture, artwork, kitchenware; and setting up entire homes and common area for 48 apartments and 30 houses.

    Teresa has coordinated the move and set-up of more than 150 people living with an intellectual disability, collaborating with families, staff and allied health professionals. She assisted in managing high support homes and within an Exceptional Needs home.

    Her retail sector roles included Administration/Customer Service Manager, Merchant Administrator and Regional Casual Leasing Manager.

    She has Certificate IV in Disability, Dual Diploma Administration & Management, and Certificate IV in Frontline Management.

    In her role with A2P, Teresa looks forward to visiting homes, meeting tenants and speaking with you about how she can assist with your needs for a safe, comfortable, independent home.
