Meet Dave Centofanti

In his role as Maintenance Officer, David Centofanti gets out and about and meets a lot of Access 2 Place tenants.

“My main focus is to provide A2P clients with the service of fixing maintenance issues they might have in their house to ensure they have safe and sustainable living,” David says.

“I also come up with ideas to prevent any maintenance issues in the future. My aim to provide tenants with a swift friendly service that they can count on when they need it.”

David says the wellbeing of A2P tenants comes before anything else. He prides himself on always greeting them with a smile and taking time to talk to tenants about their maintenance requirements. This helps him work out a solution that best suits the individual.

His tasks can include installing appropriate handrails, making sure there is sufficient light and power, and general maintenance.

Tenants might recognise the distinctive green van that David uses to move from location to location.

Before joining A2P, David was proprietor of his own electrical business for 12 years.

“Working in the building industry also gave me skills which assist A2P in future builds,” he says.

In his spare time, David enjoys playing electric guitar in bands across Adelaide.
