We’re Hiring – NDIS Project Officer (SDA)
The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated NDIS Project Officer (SDA) to join our team and work closely with NDIS, clients, representatives, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless management of NDIS SDA funding, claims, budgets and the enrolment and management of A2P SDA dwelling registrations.
The role will be responsible for liaising with the NDIS, preparation and management of NDIS SDA claims and managing client budgets within the NDIS framework while ensuring compliance and efficiency including resolving any payment discrepancies and disputes promptly. You will also be responsible for the registration and management of A2P dwelling registrations with the NDIS. The position may also require you to undertake other finance-related tasks as needed.
High-quality reporting, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a focus on negotiation and advocacy are essential for success in this role. Additionally, your ability to plan and coordinate activities, collaborate effectively as a team member, and deliver high-standard work to meet compliance obligations will be critical to your success.

Person Requirements
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience using my NDIS provider portal (PACE), my place provider portal or similar
- Understanding and proven experience of SDA claiming processes, payments, budgets and compliance requirements within the NDIS framework.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve payment discrepancies and handle disputes effectively.
- Understanding of NDIS SDA dwelling enrolment and registration processes.
- Competence in interpreting NDIS plans and funding guidelines.
- Strong administration skills, with experience in maintaining records.
- Excellent data entry and word processing skills.
- Highly proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel.
- A positive and energetic approach to work.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Proven ability to create, develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive attitude towards staying informed about industry updates and regulatory changes.
Desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of Chintaro, MYOB or similar systems.
- Current driver’s licence.
