We’re Hiring – Asset Coordinator
The Role
We are currently seeking an Asset Coordinator, responsible for the hands-on delivery and coordination of maintenance and renovation works across the Access 2 Place housing assets. You will be responsible for building effective working relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders, including the Tenancy team and contractors to ensure there is a strong collaborative approach and professional and respectful service to our tenants.
In your new role, you’ll be responsible for delivering a combination of activities, including renovations, tenant requested/disability modifications, vacated property maintenance, responsive, planned and cyclical maintenance across the housing assets. Critical to your success will be your ability to plan and coordinate activities, be flexible to respond to changing priorities and your ability to utilise your experience managing contractors and assessing the quality of work to ensure our assets are maintained to a high standard.

Person Requirements
Essential Criteria
- Experience managing contractors and the coordination of the maintenance and repair of properties.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience managing costings, tendering and quote processes.
- Experience working to a planned/cyclical asset management program.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in liaising with key stakeholders and communicating in a compassionate and respectful manner towards people living with a disability.
- Written communication and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of WHS requirements
- Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Project.
- High level of personal motivation and initiative.
- Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
- Current South Australian Driver’s license and a well-maintained and comprehensively insured vehicle that meets current safety standards.
Desirable
- Trade qualification, or equivalent with expertise in construction, refurbishment or maintenance background
- Construction/Maintenance project management
- Experience/knowledge working in the disability and/or community housing sector.
- Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly regarded.
- Experience using Chintaro is highly regarded.
- Experience using Property Inspection Manager is highly regarded.
