Event – International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) 2024

On 3rd December, Access 2 Place hosted a memorable event at the Christie Downs Community House to celebrate the International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD). The day brought together tenants, stakeholders, and supporters for a wonderful time of connection, celebration, and fun.

The event began with an interactive Welcome to Country, setting an inclusive and meaningful tone for the day. This was followed by inspiring addresses from Minister Nat Cook and Access 2 Place’s Board Chair, Natasha Rees.

Guests enjoyed arts and crafts, a delicious BBQ, and an abundance of fun and laughter that created a joyful atmosphere for everyone involved.
