Meet Ashlee Pyke

Ashlee Pyke may be one of the more familiar faces at Access 2 Place, as our Engagement Coordinator. She spends a lot of her time interacting with tenants, helping to create and deliver social events for tenants to enjoy, and producing tenant communication such as our regular enewsletters and the tenant survey.

Ashlee also coordinates our Tenant Advisory Group (TAG), where tenants have the opportunity to give A2P feedback and ideas.

Many tenants would first meet Ashlee after they have moved into their A2P home, as she generally goes out to introduce herself and check if they are happy with everything in their new home. Meeting tenants is the best part of her job, according to Ashlee.

“This is also an opportunity for me to explain tenants’ rights and responsibilities, Access 2 Place processes and procedures, answer any questions they might have,” Ashlee says.

“It’s an important step in welcoming tenants and getting to know them, and seeing how they might like to participate in tenant engagement activities.”

Tenant activities have included things like a fun bowling day – free for tenants – and last year’s tenant online art gallery. Ashlee hosts our stall at the Disability Ageing and Lifestyle Expo, and represents us on various groups and associations. She is currently looking at some exciting collaborations with other organisations, which we’ll be sharing in future news articles.

Ashlee was previously employed as a Housing Officer, and has had various administration roles in the community service sector, ranging from working in health and medical research, professional education development, to counselling services and integrated youth substance misuse programs.
